  Fresh, home made scones and quick service sitting outside in the bright sunshine. Lovely. Will be back to try some of the other bottled drinks soon.

  The Orchard is definitely an experience to have when in Cambridge, especially for locals. However, the food is pretty average and I think the owners rely more on their grounds and hype about the place to keep people coming. Go once and then maybe have your own picnic in a surrounding field?

  Pleasant experience, but nothing spectacular. Better in the winter when it is not crowded. Once the spring sets in, the crowds descent upon the place, queues get much longer, place is overcrowded, trays hard to find, parking impossible. The food is OK, but not great. Scones are the strong point. Tea ok, coffee below par. Relies on the strength of word of mouth and has rested on its laurels for a while. Visit once to experience, but beyond that i doubt it's worth it.

  Went for an afternoon tea and was told that I needed to pre-book this with 24 hrs notice. I wasn't aware of this, their reply was 'well that's just how it is.' Staff were very rude and the food average. For a very popular tea rooms more should be done to make it a nice experience. Staff should be more helpful and provide suffificient cutlery. Customer service was 0. Won't be going back.
